Description
Pound yam is a pure paste of mashed yam, often combined with vegetable soup or stew. It’s like mashed potatoes, but smoother, firmer and tastier. It is a very popular African dish, especially in the Middle East, in South East Nigeria, Ghana, Benin and some parts of West Africa.
Preparation instructions for 2-4 servings: boil, lower the heat and add 450g of flour to the water. Total so as not to form lumps. Add water if desired.
